Mississippi State University "Super Bulldog" weekend will be held on Saturday, March 9th beginning at 9:00 a.m. Students are parents are invited to attend. To register visit www.admissions.msstate.edu

ATTENTION JUNIORS: The University of Alabama Rural Health Scholars Program is available to juniors who are interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. This program provides tuition and all living expenses while on the U of A campus during the summer. In order to apply, students must have a 20 on the ACT exam. For an application, see Mrs. Archer ASAP.

UAB Day for Sophomores and Juniors will be held on Saturday, April 19th beginning at 8:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to attend also. Student guided tours will be offered as well as information regarding admission, housing, financial aid, scholarships, and academic programs. Wallace State Visitation Days will be held each Tuesday and Friday. Call 256-352-8031 to make an appointment. Campus visits will meet in the lobby of the Bailey Center.

Ayn Rand Essay contest-9th and 10th graders must write an essay on Rand's novelette anthem; 11th and 12th graders must write an essay on Rand's novel The Fountainhead. Prizes range from $30 -$10,000. The entry deadline for 9th and 10th graders is March 20, 2008 and the deadline for 11th and 12th graders is April 25, 2008. For essay topics and instructions, see Mrs. Archer.
