MHS FCCLA Competed in the State STAR Events on Saturday March 29th. Six students participated and won 5 gold medals (scoring 90-100 pts), 5 overall gold medals (highest score in their division) and 1 silver medal was won.

Congratulations to 10th graders Katie Mauldin and Amber Peek for winning a gold & gold overall medals in the Focus on Children, Sr. high event. These two students are now qualified to compete in the National Star Event Competition in Orlando Florida in July.
Morgan Rose won gold and gold overall in the Illustrated Story, Sr. high event.
Andi Gibson won a silver medal in the Job Interview, Sr. high event.
Mariah Martinez won the gold and gold overall in the Illustrated Story, Jr. high event.
Anna Mauldin won the gold and gold overall in the Reading Story, Jr. high event.
