The second grade classes learned how to sign the
song "God Bless the USA."
They signed and sang the song to the veterans
Monday morning.
Then, they gave the veterans a USA flag heart
that they colored and wrote messages on the back.
We recently got our flag pole fixed and
put back up, so this is the first flag we've had for a while.
The Boy Scouts and some area veterans raised the flag in front of
the school.
What better day to raise the flag than on Veteran's Day. :)
