Christmas Around the World page1

We began our "trip" around the world on December 3rd to learn about Christmas and other winter holidays. We learned how to say "Merry Christmas" in several languages. We decorated our tree with ornaments and decorations that we made from other countries, and we enjoyed some foods from other countries. We learned about Kwanzaa, made mkeka placemats, and ate fresh fruits. We also learned about Hanukkah, ate potato latkes with apple sauce, and played with dreidels.
