On Constitution Day, Miss Fulghum read "We the Kids: The Preamble to the
Constitution of the United States" by David Catrow. She explained what
every part of the "Preamble" means. Then, she let us watch and sing along
to "The Preamble" on a "Schoolhouse Rock" video.

She made a copy of the "Preamble" so that we could read along and recite
it all together with the entire school during the all-call on the Intercom
system. These pictures show us getting ready to recite the very special
and important words of the "Preamble to the Constitution."
