I invite all parents to view the websites that are commonly used to help students succeed.

  • Starfall for students having trouble with sounds or reading it is excellent!
  • Gamequarium the site that swims with learning fun.
  • PBS.org is also fun, educational, and safe. This site also has to separate divisions for k-2 and 3-any age that likes cartoons.
  • NickJr is a good site for those not yet in school and kindergarten.
  • FunSchool for the older students--you can choose the grade level.
  • Dictionary.com look up words online.
  • Good Typing free online typing practice.
  • Crayola Kids coloring pages, craft ideas and more.
  • Highlights puzzles and games.
  • Ask Jeeves find answers for kids.
  • Alabama Virtual Library primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research.
  • Prongo is good for home use, but you will have some adds that pop up according to what kind of firewall that you have--I have seen nothing offensive while working with this site at home.

I would love to help you become actively involved in your child's technology education. If you would like to visit please call to set up a time.
