Mrs. Beth Wilson Gilbreath's Double Springs Middle School Gifted Class won 1st place at the McWane Center Celebrate Science Exhibit competition! They completed against 17 other schools.

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENT: Beginning with this school year (August 2010), all students 11 years of age and older, entering 6th grade, will be required to present a Certificate of Immunization (Blue Card) verifying that their child has been immunized, after the 10th birthday, with TDaP (tetanus-diphtheria-acelluar pertussis) vaccine. Please schedule an appointment with your family physician or county health dept prior to August 9, 2010. A copy of the blue card should be returned to your child's school by August 9, 2010.
