Addison Elementary Scholars Bowl competed at the St. Bernard Prep Invitational on Saturday, Dec 8, 2007. They defeated East Elementary and West Elementary of Cullman and Russellville Elementary. They lost to Arab (55-80) and West Point (105-115). This was the first tournament of this format and the players did an outstanding job of representing Addison Elementary. Team members are: Asilynn D, Katie R, Kurtis R, Michael B, Kolby K, Hunter R, John E, Ryan W. Coaches are Sharon Naylor and Rhonda Langley.
Case was the winner of 'THE WORLD'S LARGEST PIANO MAT during our Computers for Education fundraiser.
Sharon Naylor receives $1500 grant for reading from BCBS representative Nikki Bell Johnson. This grant was received by participating in a reading and character education project that is promoted by BCBS. A special thank you to the teachers who helped make this possible.
